Broome Surf Life Savers - Patrols

Our volunteer Surf Life Savers (SLS) patrol Cable Beach on Sundays throughout the busy dry season managing the beach, safety and rescue, and surf conditions, providing a reassuring presence for locals and visitors.

Nippers (6-13 year olds)

The Woodside Nippers program, a nationwide Surf Life Saving initiative that introduces young Australians to the beach in a safe, fun, and educational way. In Broome, the the official Nippers program runs from May to September.
