Seniors get involved in two key areas of the club, patrols and competition. The beach environment down at Cable Beach is sensational with the highlight being Sunday morning competition.

Club competition is made up of point events, trophy events and annual club championships. The senior competitions are well run by our Competition Officer, who does a great job to ensure that people not only learn a lot, but have a great time as well.

All active senior members are encouraged to be involved in the weekly Sunday events at 10.30am and the Monday, Wednesday and Friday training sessions at 4.30pm.

As part of being a patrolling member, fitness (including ocean swimming fitness) and life saving skills are essential to ensure you are ready when faced with any number of possible situations.

There are a number of club events which senior members can compete in throughout the season including:  Swim (Competitive as well as a social swim), Beach Sprint, Flags, Boards & Single and Double Ski.
